This five title series was edited by Jacob Abbott and published by Henry F. Anners.
Anners’ set was first noted in an advertisement in August, 1849. None of the books were actually written by Jacob Abbott.
Of note is that all five of these titles appeared in T. H Carter’s New Moral Library in the mid-1840’s. At that time Abbott’s name was not associated with the series.

Wightman published two editions of a 12 mo. Corner-Stone. The first was in 1834. In 1838 this publisher printed Hoaryhead and the Valleys Below.
No other Abbott books from this publisher are known.
1874 Publishers’ Weekly Advertisement
The Siegel-Cooper Company was a discount department store that sold books on its imprint between the early 1890’s and early 1900’s. This book has the same format as a pre-1902 Mershon Company publisher’s series format. These Rollo books are part of large publisher’s series. They are 6 x 4.5.
